Worst thing is... Tyldesley cut his teeth at Goodison working for radio merseyside(maybe city?), he was 'merde' then as well, whatever was happening it was always 15 yds from somewhere. You wouldn't think he spent so much time watching us though the way he messes his pants when ushoited and the r/s are on, you are guaranteed either "that unforgettable night in Barcelona" or "another special European night at A****ld" within minutes of kick-off and at least 1/2 dozen times during the game. If the r/s played ushoited in a euro tie at the hole, then he'd be tongue tied trying to get it all in.
I think his replacement/apprentice on the radio was that Rob McCaffrey
he had shoulders that his jacket used to slide off, and a 'tache like sweeps gob
we must breed them up here though, cos to complete the hat-trick I give you the man who ended up wearing non-prescription glasses with coloured rims to seem more intelligent.
And don't forget Richard Madeley was a Granada fixture for years.
