Nice beer. Nice buildings(quite medieval looking). More of a place to take your bird than go with the lads.

any recommendations for the end of march/beginning of April? About £250-300 each for 3 or 4 nights.

Nowhere freezing, and nowhere it's £9 a pint.

If you want somewhere warm at that time of the year then I'd recommend Athens or Rome.
Rome'll be cheaper to get to flights wise, but Athens'll be cheaper once you're there.

They're both boss places, but Athens in Spring would win it for me.

Berlin is more interesting, Prague is prettier, more walkable and cheaper.

I would recommend somewhere in Germany. Hamburg or Munich

Hamburg can be dirty, dead dirty.

The entire city is Unesco heritage. So it's a bit like a museum (+- 15th century). It's unchanged for the most part. Everything is as a result quite medieval looking. Huge problem for when you live there since you aren't allowed to do/change anything to your home without 322 consultations. Oh and loads of canals. Water everywhere.
