If the boss is with you, not joking, if neither of you have spent time in Bristol, its a perfect place for a 2/3 day visit. Not a Berlin nor Paris, granted, but a terrific place to explore, what with few "must see" tourist spots to cram in.

I've heard the railways are absolutely sub standard, and no offence but 'happy crimbo we're having a weekend in bristol' is more likely to get me kicked out than a xmas day nosh!

Munich or Amsterdam. Can't go wrong, imo.

Flights are cheap, rounds aren't too expensive and there's plenty of places to stay.

It`s quiet in March mate, so you wouldn`t be sat there wishing you where with your mates lol

The Old Town and the Old Town end of the beachfront was busy, but in a good way, locals and older Brits.

I'm going to Estoril in April. Flights to Lisbon were £63 return.

Not really a city but went to Nerja last March. Flew to Malaga. It was lovely and very cheap.

Actually, Malaga itself is worth staying in for a bit. So many people just use the airport. There is an incredible motor and fashion museum there in a huge old tobacco factory. Also Picasso museum.

Krakow gets my vote. Lovely place, lots to see and do and around €1 a pint in lots of bars.

My arl fella lives near Malaga so not on the list for this one, I agree with you though.
