ended up buying a Chromecast the other day when i was in pc world (£20) had it working but whenever I switch the hdmi back to another port (for tv or xbox) I find that when I switch back to the port for the chromecast it isn't detecting it ? can't fig if it's a dodgy hdmi connection or what ? everything else works in that port, they are on permanently as well so it should be putting up the various pics that it does even when I'm not 'casting,' getting it has also coincided with some god awful streams this weekend as well but when it was fully working I managed to stream a film off mobdro on my phone for the kids and the quality was fantastic.
Unsure about it so far tbh.

showbox works a treat as does Mobdro with my nexus 7. Best £30 I've ever spent

Anyone got any Apps they recommend ?

I'm using TV cast at the min and its brilliant ! must say the Chromecast is a boss bit of kit!

how do you find Plex? , was going to read up on it as some intresting stuff knocking about on the iptv scene using it.

apps that have sport on modbro hasnt been that good lately for me, showbox is a decent film app, well worth having.

Plex is quality if you have a good library of music/films !

No idea about modbro but Showbox is basically 'free' Netflix, but with a much better film and TV selection - quality not always quite as good. Download the apk from the internets.

Mobdro seems to have lost all of the BeinSport streams since wiziwig went, still my app of choice though for watching.

Still unconvinced by the chromecast tbh, it's ok for the £20 I spent like but I hardly use it as always seem to have probs with it.

i woudnt bother reidy you can get a cheap quad core android box and put tvmc(kodi) on it , more or less sets itself up, just a little bit of keeping ahead of the ip trying to block certain sites , you just type a new url(address) has all films sport ect you want, AFtv going cheap at the moment really decent thats what i have little bit harder to set up, nothing bad and loads of youtube stuff how to do it.

Instead of Chromecast i bought a HDMI to MHL cable that plugs into my phone or tablet for streaming onto my TV. Works perfect for apps like showbox.

Yeah, I keep meaning to order 1, or rather 3 different ones cos all the tablets phones need different & sods law states that whichever I get will be for the device thats in use at the time I wanna watch a match.

Should just bite the bullet & get an android tv box tbh, mate tells me that if you get a vpn for a fiver you can then get NBC which has every game & in HD as well, he also has Netflix for a fiver a year. I'd rather get 1 of someone than through ebay though tbh.
