I do say "Happy Holidays" as opposed to "Merry Christmas" just because I think it's a courteous thing to do if someone doesn't celebrate Crimbo

However, I don't think I've ever been accosted for using the word "Christmas" and it's not through fear of that happening that I say "Holidays" instead

It's just a nice thing to do that makes some people feel a bit more included

The nutters who lose their mind about "The War on Christmas" because some people decide to show others a modicum of common courtesy are weapons of the highest order IMO

Well some Christian's, like Jehovah's witnesses, don't even celebrate Christmas, so they'd be offended if I wished them a Merry Christmas

So it depends on the Christian and I'd be happy to tailor it accordingly
