Made two Christmas cakes, fruit soaked in blackberry vodka. Will 'feed them' every two weeks until about 10 days before Christmas. Will be making mincemeat soon with cider, it's delicious. It's piss easy to do and tastes much better than shop bought mincemeat. This is similar to the recipe I use, but I add suet.
