So I just watched it, really????? It wasn't that bad, she messed up one line and didnt let it effect her like others have.

Plus she looks amazing!!! (apparently, according to the tabloids my wife reads (and I perv over) she is FAT now she is a US size 8) Nothing really wrong with this, except for a little mistake which is being blown way out of proportion!!! She's human remember, we are ALL fallible.

I was more mad at Fergie ruining Sweet Child Of Mine.

Fellas.. You don't **** up the National Anthem..

She had to of known way beforehand that she would be doing this.
It's an honor for these Celebs to sing that song.

No excuse's..

Just my opinion though.

P.S. Dylan, bro.. She didn't mess up one line.. She forgot it!!

I was kinda joking. Did she really miss a verse? I guess I was distracted by all my friends commenting on her awfulness.

I've always liked the american national anthem, the lyrics are taken from a poem written by an american prisoner on board HMS Suprise as the british bombarded a US fort during the war of 1812, the poem is about wondering if the fort has been captured or whether they've held out. They could see glimses of the flag during the night as bombs and rockets lit up the sky, and they were looking as dawn broke to see if the flag was still there and the fort remained in US hands...emotive stuff.

I remember when Lucy Lawless sang the national anthem at an NHL game, wearing a star and stripes one peice thing. Her tits fell out and she didnt even notice and finished singing tits out. Awesome stuff.

Christina.....I'd let her do me.

*frantic googling*

She was awful but wasn't alone, the Black eyed pea's were just as bad oh and Usher "OMG" (and i mean omg) he soo can't sing live all he kept saying was "uh come on" he's too busy dancing.

One thing i don't get is why Americans are Sooo patriotic, they soo love their country, Every gaming event they sing their national anthem even at club level, God i'd be sick of the damn song! It got me thinking if i was a Bin Laden and wanted to kill lots of americans all you have to do is set up a load of speakers and play the Anthem in a crowded area, everyone will stop at the spot "place their right hand on their hearts" and sing the song lol.....then Boooom! (Sorry didn't mean to be offensive or anything)

Well as for the Superbowl i really enjoyed it, shame we gotta wait another year for another. Oh one more thing why do they kepp saying "we're the best in the world!" when they win, How many other countries play? I didn't realise there were more lol.

It goes beyond patriotism mate, so there isn't really a comparison to be made with our anthem and more subdued attitude to it. When they play/sing theirs, it's a celebration of an ideology: Americanism. Roughly - that the country has manifest destiny to spread its values of freedom (freedom of speech/assembly etc, and more importantly, freedom to trade) throughout the globe. Although it probably wasn't at the forefront of the mind of the person who wrote it, it also represents the celebration of the melting pot and social mobility regardless of race, creed or religion. As with all ideologies it's a powerful brew and they don take too kindly to people knocking it.

I'm from the States. Absolutely disgraceful. When it happened my friends and I looked at each other like "did that really just happen??" She's sung it a million times on tons of big stages. Pathetic.

Pretty bad to screw it up on the biggest sports stage the country has to offer, but hardly the biggest screw up in terms of not knowing the words.

I've heard it thousands of times in my lifetime. And I kid you not, I get goosebumps every single time. It's very powerful.
