We've all said for ages with Lampard in charge, the targets should be young, hungry players from abroad or The Championship. Yet it appears we are offering mega money to free agents like Tarkowski (29) and Erikson (30) and giving Kenny a 3 year contract. We're just repeating the same mistakes.

Needs to be a balance. Picking up the odd experienced free transfer makes sense. Investing completely in young unproven players could be a disaster

My dream is that we could enter a new era where we scout and acquire the 22 year old Erikkson ( and/or Richarlison, Modric, Arteta, Mina, Gomes etc etc since that is the only way forward for us imo) it is a tall order and requires a high level of competence from some key people in the club but the constant going for guys post their best is what has got us in this situation in the first place.
FWIW, even now Erikkson is still boss but we have to find a way to build a developing cycle not a short term fix.

That says more about the defence who struggle with a lot of the basics of the job description of a defender.
We've got midfielders who cant keep possession. You're against players who will keep possession.
Out of interest whats your solution?

Buy a ball-winning midfielder. Someone similar to Gana. The player we thought Allan would be. That type of player.

Think of the heart problems Everton causes for the fans I'd imagine its equally straining for players. his heart would pop like a zit. Also not happening either staying with Brentford or a romantic return to spurs
