There's a player in there, give it some time.
Not too sure there is, or if there is he's not shown one piece of evidence of it so far (albeit he's had only limited game time). His control has been lacking and his passing little better than dreadful, likewise his crossing. Most disappointingly he's not even using his supposed pace to look to run beyond the FB looking for the ball over the top. There were two or three instances last night when he received the ball on the half way line, turned round and gave the ball back to Hibbert, but then just stood still, when there was acres of space behind his FB to have asked for the ball to be played in to.

As you say, far too early to make a judgement, but he's not got that much time to impress before he disappears for a month for the Africa Nations Cup.

He is a loan signing and a squad player at that. He doesn´t need to be boss all the time, or play all the time to be a success.

Deulofeu had plenty of nothing games, but made an impact in maybe around ten games and you would say the loan was a success overall.

Let´s not judge him overly harshly until near season end and we will know whether he has managed to have enough of an impact to be deemed a good signing.

He is well below Premier League standard, he would be better off going to a mid-table Championship team. I'd rather Martinez give one of our kids a chance than put this guy on.

I liked last night when he got the ball out wide and the crowd reacted as if they thought something good was gonna happen.
He then ran straight into the defender and lost it.

Defo, he's not great at the moment, just think it could happen, we don't have many "flair" players fit right now so would be good to see him step up.

Gun player! Every player that plays for Everton is s a gun according to some in here....can't say a bad word about anyone ;)

He's no experience at this level, which is why Chelski loaned him
He's light and fast and talented
Hopefully he can beat a few players with his pace and who knows?
