If Martinez wants to make it permanent next season he's gonna have to play this one smartly, of all our 3 loans last season the 2 that stayed (lukaku and Barry) both played regulary whilst the bit part player Del decided to move on, I just hope Martinez looks at this lad as pienaar's long term successor and plays him in most of our games with pienaar coming on for him as a sub/playing in the Europa league/cup games

It's a good point. I think he has changed the perception of us as a club. There is a lot of bitterness and jealousy going on from other clubs fans which i'm finding quite amusing too. We can't compete financially so Martinez just exploits the loan market and look how it's paid off this season with getting Barry and Lukaku back permanently.

I'm hoping this fella has more end product than Deulofeu and knows when to run at the defence, and when to keep possession. I found that frustrating about Deulofeu, despite his flashes of brilliance and don't think he was as good as some made out.

Kinda agree about Deulofeu. Talent in abundance, but due to the injury, and just the stage of development he was at meant that we didn't get nearly as much out of him as we might have. It's easy to dribble and dribble if that's your game. Much harder to learn when to do something else with the ball.
