In my defense, a "wind up" is in one sense "something done or said in usually a joking way to make someone annoyed or upset."
In another sense, it is the final act in a process, such as a pitcher releasing a ball or a trebuchet releasing its load.
My comment was a play on the phrase continued out an additional level to exaggerate the motion to a baseball pitcher to that of a trebuchet throwing a car.
Apologies all around to the mod staff. I'll keep my comments limited to Atsu and made up rumours about Atsu's inevitable transfer to Hibernian.
