Hey @hktoffee one story that I'd like your perspective on is the kerfuffle about Huwawei. The US got all upset about alleged threats to national security and there were concerns here in the UK, but I gather we still use their products.

What's your view mate? All overblown? Bad apples (particularly the US case)? Or would the Chinese state spy?

Definitely the Chinese state spying,they really need to know what's on the Asda shopping lists of the UK.

Well the US have identified China as a danger to everybody's security,so I imagine the UK MSM will concur,so it's a done deal.

Feels simplistic to me. Sure the media will play a role, but is there a genuine potential issue. I'm curious to know if China depicts similar issues with Western tech, for example.
