Definitely the Chinese state spying, they really need to know what's on the Asda shopping lists of the UK.Hey @hktoffee one story that I'd like your perspective on is the kerfuffle about Huwawei. The US got all upset about alleged threats to national security and there were concerns here in the UK, but I gather we still use their products.
What's your view mate? All overblown? Bad apples (particularly the US case)? Or would the Chinese state spy?

Serious question though mate. Is it a real threat or just rhetoric and posturing?Definitely the Chinese state spying, they really need to know what's on the Asda shopping lists of the UK.
Well the US have identified China as a danger to everybody's security,so I imagine the UK MSM will concur,so it's a done deal.Serious question though mate. Is it a real threat or just rhetoric and posturing?
Sounds like the opposite of ChinaThis part of the forum is largely unmoderated with reports only acted upon in exceptional circumstances.
Feels simplistic to me. Sure the media will play a role, but is there a genuine potential issue. I'm curious to know if China depicts similar issues with Western tech, for example.Well the US have identified China as a danger to everybody's security,so I imagine the UK MSM will concur,so it's a done deal.
Are you saying the Current Affairs forum aren't a great bunch of lads?Sounds like the opposite of China
