Hopefully we'll raise our game again and give them a game, christ knows if the side that went to the Reekbok turns up we'll get annihilated.

We'll have to keep it tight because i'm not confident in our ability to get more than one against these at the Bridge. Luiz is a fabulous player and Ancelotti is under pressure to get a couple of wins under his belt so we'll see a strong team from them.

Win or lose, this is a massive game, and one that could have a huge impact on players and fans alike for the remainder of the season. A win would be an incredible achievement and would open up hopes of another trip to Wembley. On the other hand if we get beat 3 or 4, on the back of the Bolton game, how demoralising would that be. I expect us to raise our game and make a real fight of it; but this said, nothing would be more in keeping with the season we've had than a respectable performance and a narrow defeat.

All I can say is that I will be watching the match on Saturday. Got an odd feeling in the gut over this one.

Everton under David Moyes have never won away at a top four club, fortunately Chelski are now 5th due to recent form which has been no better than ours, plus we have drawn our last 5 league games there. So the players have a choice, put a proper shift in and go for glory or play like last sunday and give Moyes his 'Boro moment'. Who knows which?

No Saha apparently (as most of us thought).

I don't see how we can possibly win this then. Our only chance is to grind it out, maybe go for pens, or hope Cahill can pop up at a set piece.

Moyes needs to make sure that our forward(s) will track back David Luiz, as his runs looks very dangerous when he was stepping up into midfield.

I'm also disappointed for Torres not playing - it were only two games, but I predict that he will never adjust to playing with current Chelsea's players. Chelsea is known for their slow build up, where Torres is at his best at more direct, counter attacking style like Liverpool was playing with Benitez in charge.

We always do well against Chelsea especially away, i remember a few seasons ago when Chelsea had their unbeaten record still, and we scored last minute through Mcfadden only to be wrongly disallowed :/ ahwell

.................howard...............

neville...jags........distin....baines

coleman...arteta...fellaini...?

................cahill.....................

................beckford................

subs. heitinga,anichebe,gueye,hibbert,baxter,osman/billy,mucha.(or maybe its only 5 subs in the cup, dont know)

Dont know who i would like to see on the left, we need to keep hold of the ball when we get it as beckford wont hold the ball up if we hit him too early so im kinda thinking osman will do that better than billy. Id actually like to see gueye start there for a bit of unpredictability, but thats not likely to happen.

Im not gonna predict a result but after last week i just want to see a bit of passion from the players. Our 6,000 loyal fans there, deserve at least that.

I tried to get meself motivated all week for this game. Infact, I just returned from university and wore my Everton top all day there but despite all that I try... all I can think is " not gona happen this season lad, concentrate on your GPA and let god fix everton."

He should be banished already.

Luiz is ineligible too - can't join a cup round halfway through apparently. Yak missed Leicester's replay with City for the same reason. So they'll sadly have to make do with poor old Bosingwa. Tough eh?

I'm of the opinion that we'll get comfortably beaten.

I think Chelsea will have no trouble not losing, but they'll have to work for it to win, if that makes sense.

In other words, they're going to beat us by a narrow, low-scoring scoreline. Probably 1-0 after ET.
