We can not play Davies and Gomez together against top sides with mobile midfielders, we get destroyed, Gomez needs a much more mobile partner.

Until we start doing this we are going to lose the midfield battle more often than not.

We'd keep and use the ball better for absolute certain, and Bernard is actually quick enough to close down 10x faster than Davies, Davies is a day late and dollar short everytime he tries to press.

Without actually checking I'd bet Bernard has given it away most on the team.
