...nice though it would be to win, Chelsea are better than us. If we get through, we’ll have to ride our luck and maybe win on penalties. Hoping we get ‘new manager momentum’ but I want to see improvement before getting my hopes up.

Team selection will be interesting.

Chelsea at times this season have looked a bit disinterested in a large part of their games before kicking into gear, have to hope that they put out a significantly weakened team today and aren't that arsed about it - with eyes more on the league and CL etc.

We can possibly put in a big performance and get through tonight, and the draw could throw spurs, arsenal, city and United up against each other.

But remember we are Everton and would probably lose to Bristol at home.
