what a difference between teams ( fans?) rs celebrate a home draw, everton devastated over an away draw

They've got a whackjob in charge, cheerleading them. That club is a cult and are easily taken in with stuff like that. It will probably serve them well for a bit then fail as usual.

Calmed down a bit now. Overriding thing for me is that we're close to being a very good side. Lost only one game away from home this season which is good. But if being super critical we've thrown so many points away. Issue is that we're not really winning at home. Said it before, but we've only beaten Villa, Sunderland and Chelsea. Not good enough at Goodison this season. Only a run of wins on the bounce (4 or 5) will restore my belief for this season (league wise). Longer term I'm still reasonably optimistic if we can add strength in defensive areas.
We won't keep hold of our best players if we finish bottom half tho, this team SHOULD be good enough to challenge top 4 especially this season but we find ourselves below West Ham, Stoke , Crystal Palace and now Southampton who have apparently been having a terrible season.

I actually sent a complaint regarding chris sutton to the bbc. Feel like an absolute tit now tho lol

Everton are doing weird things to me.

I imagine working in their complaints department can be quite funny sometimes. This time at our expense!

I'm glad Martinez had a go as it needed to be said. Take the worthless fine and move on.

I had no faith we'd see it out, but getting to 95/96mins I was thinking how we were managing this one better than previously. Shame the outcome was to prove ultimately the same.

Every week we are one of the highest trenders on twitter because of some heroic last minute kick in the balls.

It's our masterplan. We're letting teams score late goals to make us look more exciting. We just want more TV exposure and the money that goes with it to fire our path to absolute domination of the next decade, starting next season. I think that is the most rational explanation. It can't just be down to inept players/game management because that would be ridiculous.

Struggling to remember this isn't a loss, as it feels like one. Worse than a loss, somehow, not that that's even possible. Feels like we just got -1 point for that game.

I'll probably get stick for this but here goes ;
As peed off as I am with their last minute goal how exciting is it as an Evertonian at the moment? We play some beautiful footy, I've not seen such good attacking play for such a long time. In this modern world of instant gratification the memories of Wimbledon and where we were then compared to now are quite clear to me.
