I doubt there was another multi-billionaire waiting to write off that massive debt and invest that level of money.

People tend to forget the millions Mathew Harding pumped into Chelsea to make them a top 4 side.

Hazard gone, Sarri possibly going and their ability to bring in new players uncertain.

A difficult season ahead, especially if they don’t overturn the ban. Champions League footy to deal with as well.

Some highly rated youngsters at The Bridge are going to have to step up and become regulars. I think the right manager could knit together a pretty impressive team from their squad.

Need to get Zouma out of their asap.

I would even try and offer him the captaincy if there is a chance of making him a permanent signing.

They'll be fine, they have premier league players coming back from loans. They won't be title contenders or whatever but they'll just have a season finishing outside the top 4 like they've had before. No doubt morata will end up scoring 20 for them next season, or Abraham.
