Fanbases also go from delirium after a great run of deserved wins and clean sheets to “30 more years of this crap, I can’t take it any more. Boooooooo. Same every week, we are horrible. Every player is garbage, and Pickford needs replacing,” In the space of a week.

Losing away at supposed title contenders Chelsea which could have put us in the top 4, after spurning a few good chances ourselves, is not how I will be judging this season.
[Poor language removed] you and your stupid sense of proportion.

Some of the comments on here are proper bedwetting stuff.
We are, what we are at the moment.
A work in progress.
Is it better than the last 2 seasons. Yes. Have we got a better squad than 12 months ago. Yes.
I am happy for some stability , after years of relegation battles.
For where we are Moyes is the right man for the job.
The same people criticising him are the same people who would have gone for Potter.

That was poor. Chelsea aren't all that and could be got at easily, we just didn't build momentum.
Ref was gash.
And Cucurella is a Spanish Robertson, boils my pizz, bet his real name is Susan 😠

To bridge the gap we need new fullbacks and a decent centre forward. Its nothing we didnt know. But games like this just rams it home.
Yep the bridge being europe and titles
And the gap being quality in three positions.
Not that far away.
With that quality we would've won today.

4 wins in 6 for us if we’re doing stats

Weird game today

They played like the away team and were ruthless and clinical on the counter attack
We created loads and were as far away from clinical as can be. On balance we should be walking away with something from Grealish sliding in, Ndiaye hitting the post, Barry sliding in, Tarks header, Grealish header, Ndiaye air shot, Grealish first half chance, Alcaraz late on… how on earth did we not score!?
Fair enough. You definitely deserved to score, but not to win. I thought we (CFC) shaded it, but a draw would not have been unmerited by Everton.

We never really got going but carried a threat and the second goal just before half time killed us really. Ndiaye was unlucky with the shot against the post and I think the best moment of the game was right at the end when Tarkowski barged into Curcella who truly is an odious character and how he never got booked is a mystery.
