Didnt think Barry actually missed any reasonable chances today. The one at the back post was deflected off their keeper so not likely.

I see other posters saying he was awful, not sure what he was meant to do to be honest?

He may well be a flop but im not seeing where hes being fed.

Maybe you don't see what he sees because he's a highly qualified coach, premier league magager of many years' experience, and always kept clubs at that level, sometimes into Europe, while you're.......er.......not.

Yeah I agree, the “I play Football Manager” brigade when we lose a game can be insufferable.

Sacking managers left right and centre landed us in deep do do, I’d stick with Moyes myself.

One thing about modern football I detest is shouts to sack a manager after a defeat.

He's the heart and soul of this team along with Illy and Garner.

We should sign Ward-Prowse on loan in January. He can do a similar job to a high standard and is available.

I think most of this is fair. The last bit, not so much. We have spent over 120m since he came in. We should be better than what we were - and just because some of the fanbase suffer from PTSD does not mean we cannot improve.

New manager in the summer, please.

It’s a very crowded field for Europe. Looking at the table these last few weeks, a win shoots you up the league and defeat does the opposite. Given the nature of the league right now, I don’t think the manager’s main KPI is European football for a club that have barely bothered the the top 10 for the duration of this decade.

We're the 5th lowest goal scoring team in the league, only team in the top 12 with a negative goal difference, and have probably the worst two strikers in the entire league as our only forward options with 2 goals between them in almost half a season, yet some people think we'll be getting Europe.

Utterly mind boggling stuff.

Moyes changed a winning team to include a player responsible for both goals.

Moyes has misused KDH as a 10 and misused Alcaraz almost an entire calendar year...not to mention Dibling.

If he cant get europe and cant develop players by giving them games over underperforming pets of his then he doesnt add enough value.
