I think most of this is fair. The last bit, not so much. We have spent over 120m since he came in. We should be better than what we were - and just because some of the fanbase suffer from PTSD does not mean we cannot improve.

New manager in the summer, please.

I think we're saying the same thing really. When I say Moyes deserves criticism for certain things, then by extension the recruitment team. Its absurd to have a 40m player on the bench barely getting minutes, a LB he simply refuses to give any game time too at all, along with our other obvious flaws.

I agree, if he gets us top half then he's done his job very solidly, and time to think longer term.

I love Davey but he has been frustrating me lately.

I'm not one to believe a manager makes that much of a difference tactically, players win games.

But a manager needs to be clued up on what their players are good at and pick the team accordingly.

He has been failing massively in that department over the last while and I don't see what he sees at all.
Maybe you don't see what he sees because he's a highly qualified coach, premier league magager of many years' experience, and always kept clubs at that level, sometimes into Europe, while you're.......er.......not.

Europe or hes gone.
It’s a very crowded field for Europe. Looking at the table these last few weeks, a win shoots you up the league and defeat does the opposite. Given the nature of the league right now, I don’t think the manager’s main KPI is European football for a club that have barely bothered the the top 10 for the duration of this decade.

Not a prayer of getting Europe.

We need line up decisions to be taken away from Moyes.

Sorry but no one can defend moyes today especially after saying KDH was feeling his hamstring before the game

Thats the cherry on a poop pie.

It should be after his misuse of players.

Yeah but I was a REALLY good footballer and could absolutely have played in the Premier League but I chose another path.

I'm not even saying anything negative about Davey(I love him loads!) but he seems lost with what he has at his disposal, and I'm not really getting where he's coming from with these lineups or his direction.

It's just my opinion, you don't have to get upset(With me?).

Worst individual performance from numerous players including Barry, Jack, JoB and more.

It was a perfect framing of the difference between a decent mid table team and champions league

Little to do with quality per se, more that we cannot for one moment seriously consider any form of success until:

- we stop being the only team in the premier league without an actual right back
- like seriously, what other team actually goes over a year with positions just… missing
- probably other premier league teams would identify that LB is our weakest other position
- and that in combination, a complete lack of full back quality or threat means games like this are simple walk overs for any decent team

The lads tried, but there’s a limit to how far David or the squad can go until someone actually gets us some full backs

Mick Keane was anonymous, I do agree. But not even on the menu for MoM anonymous?
He’s on the menu now and amazingly four fans have voted for him he looked like the real Michael Keane today, so did Mylolenko along with O’Brien but we got away with some more bad defending, missed some easy chances and quite easy have scored two in the last few minutes with Dniaye hitting the post and Charlie’s effort spoiled by a great block, to rob a point and escape with an undeserved draw.

….i had my grandsons 4th birthday party so only watched intermittently, but I thought we were doing ok. I was actually thinking of having a little bet on us as half-time approached but that prospect was immediately snuffed out. Had we pulled one back with 20mins to go it still might have been interesting.

From what I saw, it was two passes behind the back four and clinical finishes that was the difference but I suppose that defines the gap between the top teams and the rest. We have competent full backs, one ‘doing a job’ but it could make a huge difference if we upgrade.

KDH is arguably our best player so losing him so early is a huge blow but I like that we still look to be competitive. Alcaraz looked ok when he came on, from what I saw Garner took the responsibility in midfield and is my MoM.

I quantify this by not seeing the whole game and drinking rum but I do feel we are progressive.
