The Chicago Fire in the NPSL is not the same Chicago Fire the Toffees played last summer. There are actually 3 teams in Chicago called the Fire. Chicago Fire MLS, PDL, and NPSL. I think NPSL is the 5th level of US footy. Glad to see his team has so much support, I wish we could get 2100 at our local USL (2nd level) games. Good luck to him.

Edit: This is a pretty slick badge for a US team.

Thought I'd mention that, as well as the two top teams in the MSPL trying to tempt him, Rich has now been been asked to go for a trial in Florida with an MLS team - as yet don't know which team.

Fantastic. So he'll be at Everton in 5 years, yes?

I'd like to think so but even I, the eternal optomist, don't think anything will change regarding 'keepers under 6' 0" tall. He's not going for the trial yet by the way, as he's injured his hand and will be back with us for Christmas anyway and if they really want him they'll wait. Apparently he's 'red-shirted' (officially injured) for the college team for the rest of their season but remains captain.
