You can’t blame the others for how sloppy his passing and carrying was though.Mainly played poorly because he displayed his weaknesses, not his strengths: his forward passing and his hability to find space. Surrounded by a Grealish obsessed with one-on-one situations, McNeill hiding, and Barry unable to win a duel. A dreadful lineup.
No, that's a manager duties. If he can't recognize what can or cannot everyone do on the pitch just quit and let the job to someone capableYou can’t blame the others for how sloppy his passing and carrying was though.
Or for his non-sensical pressing and positioning (Barry can get a bit of that flak as well tbf).
Let’s hope that puts to bed why we are starting KDH as 10

So Alcaraz playing in his preferred position and having a stinker is on Moyes? No, that's a manager duties. If he can't recognize what can or cannot everyone do on the pitch just quit and let the job to someone capable
I just see what I’ve always seen. A player with good ball striking, decent carrying and someone who plays with intensity. Two totally separate arguments.
Alcaraz - Best when let off the leash as a 10.
KDH - Best when used as an 8.
Surely you use players in the positions where they are best? If theyre not performing then you replace them with those who also favour that role?
He's a maverick and Moyes is punishing him for it. Meanwhile Grealish has 3 poor games on the spin and Moyes loves him.
It seems quite obvious that the longer he has played for Moyes the more his game has evolved.
This has led to him being pushed to second guess himself knowing no matter if he scores, assists or wins a motm award...
...he'll be dropped.
Yes, because he ignores the concept of teamwork. That's why he always changes players for fixed positions and not for the fluidity of the game.So Alcaraz playing in his preferred position and having a stinker is on Moyes?

But someone who lacks massively off the ball and is incredibly sloppy for a top flight operator.
Nothings changed to be honest, he’s always capable of either. He could easily have a stormer next game.
He should be dropped though. He isn’t our best number 10 and he isn’t part of our best 3 in the midfield spine. Two totally separate arguments.

Obviously your view is different but that is where I am.
What a load of diarrhoea. Your obsession with Alcaraz is totally embarrassing, you’re desperate for everyone to get on board with what you see, which is prime Kaka.If you look at the lineup with Grealish LW(slows the play and keeps posession), KDH 10 (slows the play and keeps posession) and Ndiaye (wants to drive forward) its a mishmash.
Last season we were quick on the transition and Alcaraz in the 10 role looked like a gamechanger.
This season we've brought in 2 players who Moyes plays at LW and 10 who want to slow the play and recycle posession.
I think if you use KDH as an 8 he's a gamechanger. This then opens up the 10 position.
For a team that is struggling to score goals surely you play your 'joker'. Alcaraz is the player who will take chances...sometimes they come off and we have a great chance (like the cross a game or two ago which Grealish missed an open goal) or Alcaraz will strike the ball at goal (like yesterday) and if it isnt blocked theres a decent chance.
In short, he's a threat for a team who doesnt pose much threat. If you give him confidence to play and enjoy himself (as with Iroegbunam, Barry & Dibling) then you'll see his best and his worst. Perhaps over time his all round game improves? If not then he's an option when you sign better or you sell for a profit.
If we dont play him then we lack threat. If we do play him then it looks like he knows he'll be dropped so is second guessing himself now.
I've also mentioned that Conor Gallagher would be a great signing for the midfield. Would i use Alcaraz over him - unlikely.
We also have Dibling who came up Englands youth ranks as a 10. If Moyes is really looking for a player who doesnt lose the ball and can recycle posession, why isnt Dibling the 10?
Instead were using one of our top CMs as a 10 who is ineffective there.
It winds me up every single week.
Every cloud has a silver ..... but this guy is poor and I have said it all season .The sloppiness is annoying but he has to keep playing for the very simple reason that when he’s not out there (and also Ndiaye isn’t) no one shoots. He had three of our five shots today. Against Chelsea he was the only attacker with a pass leading to a shot. Like it or not we need someone on the field that will give us some semblance of a chance to score.
We are all entitled to our opinions but I have great difficulty seeing yours as he is poor and gets lost with marking ,sometimes last night he was so far away from their players when we were defending only to start running as the ball got to a player .If you look at the lineup with Grealish LW(slows the play and keeps posession), KDH 10 (slows the play and keeps posession) and Ndiaye (wants to drive forward) its a mishmash.
