Maybe hes not good enough.

But he ruined Palace and hasnt been used centrally since.
He came on late in that game and made a big impact against a team looking to push on for the winner and leaving themselves open to a counter.

I dont see a picker of locks here. I dont see a player who has good judgement, and then if it's not on for a pass he can screen and recycle.

He looks a liability most of the time.

Still 5 games for him and others to convince that they can be a part of next season, but considerable improvement will be required.

Hardly fair to judge him on 15 min at home to City… none of our other attacking players did a single thing. He looks a good player but hard to get a rhythm going when being dropped for no reason + being moved around positions
I actually don’t think the ball played to Doucoure was all that bad. It was the front foot. It just so happens Doucoure is slow as a donkey especially late in a game

One of the more frustrating things about Everton is the amount of times our players have to wait for the ball in an attacking passage and the chance is gone. NDiaye and Alcarez I think are the best we have at weighting a pass

Not sure what his best position is. Positionally he was all over the place when he came on today and that exposed our left hand side massively.

I am not going to judge him on one moment when he has been promising almost every game beforehand. What I will say is it was insanity that he was dropped in the first place for Doucore- a player who we are absolutely not re-signing. I think Moyes either doesn't want Charly (okay I disagree with Moyes on that for the price but whatever), or we are trying not to trigger the clause and get him cheap. But if that's the case, do his substitutions count towards the clause? And if they do, why are we starting Doucore, a player that will not be here next season? Moyes is annoying me a bit. We keep having managers that do dumb ish like this.

It was a really poor pass.

It was a really poor pass.
It was not the best pass in the world, and maybe he should have known it was Doucoure. However we have seen better passes from him in the past. At least I can see the thought behind it. If he has anyone with pace on his left they get to that ball and it is a one time cross. Doucoure hesitated and still nearly got there. I’ll go back and watch on tape

I am not going to call him crap on one or two misplaced passes when we’ve seen good passes far more in limited time than Soucoure has all year
