He came on late in that game and made a big impact against a team looking to push on for the winner and leaving themselves open to a counter.

I dont see a picker of locks here. I dont see a player who has good judgement, and then if it's not on for a pass he can screen and recycle.

He looks a liability most of the time.

Against Palace he started. Assisted Beto and scored.

Moyes dropped him after he bagged a goal and an assist against Palace. It's just weird dude. I don't get his thinking on that. Doucore has not earned that spot.

Its nothing short of disgusting from Moyes.

Sorry to the Moyes lovers but hes incredibly misused a player who was effective and won us a game.

It annoys me so much and while he isnt our player and may not be the answer....i think hes been treated disgracefully by the manager.

This is why I question Moyes. I think he has done great this season. Not all of his decisions have been perfect, but he has undeniably got results from a team that was sucking complete butt and he got a lot of those results without Ndiaye. Will Moyes be able to get results when the season actually matters? I am very concerned about that next year. He tends to go on long barren streaks that take you out of competing with the top. I hope he can be that guy, but I can't help but be concerned.

Weird hill to die on.

He’s looked ok Alcaraz but I’m not convinced by any means.

I do remember being fuming about the way he used Drenthe way back when though 😂.

Brilliant tactics but the misuse of Alcaraz, lack of a chance for Chermiti and the sheer incompetence of other player selections e.g Broja & Keane are mind blowing to me.

Tactics every single game = 10/10.

But this Alcaraz misuse especially after Palace has wound me up.

How did you think he did centrally vs Palace?

At least an 8/10 ?

Never seen centrally again.

Meanwhile...we see others rewarded for abysmal levels of quality.

Well that improvement is unlikely to come unless the manager plays him in his best position instead of asking him to “do a job” on either wing.
I don't necessarily disagree, but equally he ought to have done a lot better today with the ball when he did have opportunities.

It reminds me of how Carlo completely mismanaged Gordon. It's not that he needed Anthony to start. It's just that once the injuries hit his side, he had zero plan B because he froze Gordon out of the team and our form dropped considerably which took us out of Europe. I would bet that an engaged Gordon made a big difference to that side. Bad decisions cost you games. They cost you European football. He has to be better.

Very much in the balance this move. Unlikely to be here next season if he isn't starting most of not all of the remaining games.

Its 120am for me and the whole thing has given me a headache. Same as last week.

Zero logic to it.

I don’t want him here if he’s just played wide.

I dont think he looks happy at all compared with when he was central.

His whole demeanour is different. Maybe im imagining it but it looks like hes trying too hard on the ball while not knowing what hes meant to be doing out wide.
