That's pretty good . I actually sang it and it was in tune *the words not my singing btw lol.....Just not keen on the word " surfing " in the last line !

Good point, originally the phrase was "surfing on the Liverpool tide" but I didn't like that because of the connotations of the rs.

Surfing could be future proofing though. What with continental drift, if Ireland email very shoves off elsewhere, I can imagine those Atlantic rollers funelling in up the Mersey!
