Boro with that stadium in the middle of Mad Max land.

Or another London club.

Or the end of the earth for either a Saturday midday or Monday night game.

Or Hull.

Wunderbar

Everything crossed that Millwall manage to get up, for a fresh team to take part in the league rather than Southampton and Hull who will stink the place out and be proper chuffed with themselves for finishing 20th. Plus I can't be arsed with Matt Le Tissier claiming that if you put all the postcodes of the Premier League grounds together and divide by the number of players in the league you get the co-ordinates for Epstein's Island.

Boro wouldn't be too bad, but despite being out of the league for years feel like they'd be another boring choice. Millwall all the way, hopefully they'll get it done - only wanted Wrexham to sneak in (I know its unpopular) because I used to live there.

Just seen that Leicester have appointed Cifuentes as their new manager, so I thought I would start a dedicated Championship thread for the upcoming season.

My predictions:
Promoted - Southampton, Sheffield United and Coventry City.
Relegated - Preston North End, QPR and Hull City.

Table:
1. Southampton (C, P)
2. Sheffield United (P)
3. Ipswich Town
4. Leicester City
5. Coventry (P)
6. Norwich City
7. Wrexham
8. Bristol City
9. Derby County
10. Blackburn Rovers
11. West Bromwich Albion
12. Middlesbrough
13. Watford
14. Birmingham City
15. Millwall
16. Stoke City
17. Charlton Athletic
18. Oxford United
19. Portsmouth
20. Sheffield Wednesday
21. Swansea City
22. Preston North End
23. QPR
24. Hull City

My prediction will probably turn out to be miles off the final outcome, but I am intrigued to hear anyone else's predictions and thoughts on the upcoming season.
Seeing as the season is now over, I will now revisit my predictions.

Here is the Championship table alongside the position I predicted each team to finish in brackets:

1. Coventry City (5th, playoff winners)
2. Ipswich Town (3rd)
3. Millwall (15th)
4. Southampton (1st)
5. Middlesbrough (12th)
6. Hull City (24th)
7. Wrexham (7th)
8. Derby County (9th)
9. Norwich City (6th)
10. Birmingham City (14th)
11. Swansea City (21st)
12. Bristol City (8th)
13. Sheffield United (2nd)
14. Preston North End (22nd)
15. Queens Park Rangers (23rd)
16. Watford (13th)
17. Stoke City (16th)
18. Portsmouth (19th)
19. Charlton Athletic (17th)
20. Blackburn Rovers (10th)
21. West Bromwich Albion (11th)
22. Oxford United (18th)
23. Leicester City (4th)
24. Sheffield Wednesday (20th)

Overall, some of my predictions were well off (such as Hull getting relegated and Leicester making the playoffs) but I was also close on a few fronts and did manage to call Coventry's promotion (just not as playoff winners) and Wrexham narrowly missing out on the playoffs (finishing 7th). I was also only one place out with my predictions for four teams: Ipswich Town, Derby County, Stoke City and Portsmouth.

Now, for my revised playoff prediction, I am going to predict a Southampton v Millwall final with Southampton coming out on top.
