People from Hull are definitely ok.They are just my personal preferences for the playoffs.
Millwall have some horrors but the club has worked tirelessly to eradicate as much of it as possible, it does enormous amounts in the local community which is a very blue collar area and this while overcoming the death of their Chairman and heading off a compulsory purchase order for their stadium from an iffy developer.
Their reputation, whilst deserved initially is a bit outdated.

Whichever one of those teams that comes up through the play offs will need to do a Sunderland to have any chance of staying up next season - big squad investment needed as the gap got a lot wider in the last five or so years

From Hull?
Sunderland had a near immaculate transfer success, they kept everyone fit in the main and were a new side no one had figured out yet. Let's see who gets sold, who is feeling another season older, and what they get in to bolster the ranks.
As for the promoted sides, they'll be fighting one another for the better signings, and its a WC year. A lot of pressure on the window immediately after the competition and before the start of the new season.
