Me too. Even though Chelsea have got results against them in the league, there have been reasons why, a horror of a penalty to make the last game 2 0 City springs to mind.

That said, I wouldnt be surprised if Pep goes all Pep and over does sommet. No mugs are Chelsea, but City, uncomplicated City, are the superior team.

...he’s being criticised for changing the formation, but Chelsea were superbly organised and defended with real intensity. To a man, they died for the cause. Two full backs gave Mahrez and Sterling no space at all, Rudiger and Kante were particularly good.

An intense, in your face performance like that would’ve been difficult for City regardless of their line-up. Some criticism is probably valid, but it should not detract from Chelsea, they found a way to win that cup final.

....Rudiger defended with real intensity, I thought he was terrific last night but clearly overstepped the mark in the incident with KDB.

He knew exactly what he was doing. As much as it was snide, I'd give anything to have everton players like that.

I'm not so sure you see that every week in the prem. He squares his body up to de bruyne and throws his shoulder into him. It was definitely a cynical move to flatten him, but it was very clever. Those snide moments seem to be common in the top teams (especially in champions League finals) and is something we are desperately missing.

It happens loads of times when slower players tend to block off quick players, It's your average cynical/tactical foul. just this time KdB caught a shiner from it, If that's a sending off them lets pack the game up and put everyone in inflatable balls to stop them getting hurt.
