I was going to say, in hindsight, I wonder if winning the shootout was the worst thing that could have happened against Colombia and the better outcome would have been losing it, sacking Southgate and getting a proper manager in.

We'll see. I think the players are fully on board with him, which is half the battle. This gen are also nothing like the golden gen, personality-wise, so it will be interesting.
