The idea was probably to sell him to Palace but he got injured then we loaned out Kean(mistake for me) so we were lumbered with him as back up. But agree we need better back up desperately Dom cannot play every minute of every game.

You can't force someone to leave when they're under contract and Tosun has repeatedly said he want to stay and earn a place.

On the other side Kean wanted to go when PSG offered. I get that Brands has a degree of control but it is hard to force players to do what they don't want to.

I agree with your analysis, but Kean didn’t seem happy and his agent has a lot of power. Like it or not, we have to deal with him. I’m sure thats what is behind the move.
