Needs support not what we dish to him this season. I only hope we get a good summer with better philosophy and tactics so we can get the best of him. I'd to see him get more chances at goal.

The lads doing well in a side that has been dreadful for the most part and only arriving from a foreign league since January. Looking forward to see what he can do with a full pre-season and preferably a new guy in charge come the start of next season

They just enjoy getting a reaction from the Turks, they don't even care about how Cenk plays. Even if Cenk scored 10 goals in a single game, they would come arguing "but he missed that 11th goal, what an utter garbage". Kev even takes it to a mom joke level to trigger a worse response. Weird way of having fun but he is who he is.

Just go along with them and accept that Cenk is no footballer at all for a while and they roll back to silence.

Is it even possible to "miss the 11th goal"? Surely it wouldn't be a goal if it didn't go in?

Only seen the goal and not the game, was a decent finish . I like him , he seems a good finisher and seems to have a good attitude and willing to work hard at his game to get into the side rather than being happy on the bench picking up his wages. Not really suited to playing lone striker but I think with a partner and supplied with chances he will score a decent amount of goals.

When I've watched him play, he continuously puts a shift in alongside good movement (on and off the ball) based on his reading of the game.

As you allude to, we simply don't' service him enough and he's often left fulfilling a thankless role, which is not something he is not suited to.

I think we are missing Gylfi a lot as he'd be servicing him much better, and with the right additions he'll be a potent threat in front of goal.

He has shown he can finish and isn't scared to put his head in where it hurts . I like him and I like his attitude and I really think he is a very useful striker. I'm a decent attacking team I could see him scoring 15+ in a season. He knows where the back of the net is for sure

If we were able to get another quality striker alongside him, who offered a different style (more agile and pacey etc.), it'd be a nice a combination.

I would be quite content to start the new season with Tosun, player-X, Niasse and DCL as I feel our real deficiencies are in other positions.

Think he has done well, got enough goals to show he shouldn't be a flop as long as we provide some service to him next season. One of the few bright points in a very forgettable season.
