Tosun scored goals in a crap system with nothing to play for. Imagine what he can do for a team that plays with attacking intent.

Also as many have stated who wouldn’t at least start making gestures if someone is starting on your old man?

Anyone who looks at our squad and thinks Tosun is a problem is just wrong.

I like him personally, his finish at Huddersfield in particular was quality

Wait what the majority of those games were horrible. Very dire viewing; probably because they had quite a lot injuries to contend with. And they had plenty of luck, especially against Atalanta; they were lucky Batshuayi had scored two but that was about it. His main quality is that he's very efficient. The season before he only had 4 shots, resulting in three goals in 127 minutes of PL football. In February he was the most efficient player in all the big competitions. A goal or an assist every 57 minutes, since 2016. He almost always scores on his debut etc... He's just a goal scorer, nothing more nothing less.

Saying this I agree with you that he probably isn't the correct player for Everton. I like him a lot, mainly because he's a friendly character and not too serious. Probably wouldn't work well at Everton, since he can appear lethargic (@PhilM ), has a tendency to switch off etc... Is a bit weird with his hair, walks around in Sponge Bob outfits...

You’ve watched more of a Dortmund than me so fair play. My point was as much that I don’t think him or Rashford are that much better than Tosun, or much more efficient in front of goal.

I do like Batshuayi I just don’t get the Tosun hate and don’t think spunking £30-50m up the wall on one of them is a wise use of our funds at all when Tosun has done really well so far.

Starting to really like this guy, he has something about him, which hardly any of our squad do. In fact him and Niasse have more personality between them than the rest of the squad put together.

Shearer wasn’t quick. I’m not saying Tosun will get anything like the goals Shearer did but he’s not too dissimilar in the way he plays.

In his youth and prime shearer was quick and a very powerful runner

Nothing strange about it mate, i just don't rate him on what i have seen so far.
He doesn't hold the ball up well, and from what i have seen i don't think his workrate is too good either.
I am not trying to be a WUM, I just don't like what i have seen so far.
He has scored a couple of nice goals and he has been starved of any genuine service, but.................good players make a nuisance of themselves and create opportunities where there are none.
I didn't mention Salah, Kane or Aguero either mate, you did.
