Sorry that you've had one of your idols shown up for what he is mate, a player that excels in a terrible league.

I wish it wasn't true because it's benefit Everton, but its got speculative flop signing written all over this.

This has to be a joke!? If Everton and Besiktas faced each other right now, it would be an another 4-0 loss for Everton. Turkish League is way under the Premier League overall, but Cenk didn't only play in that league. He also played in Champions League and the Europa League and did well. He's quite a good player.

And for Cenk, I hope he does well with his new team. He looked good to me today. But he needs more time to show his real self.

The best option is Sigurdsson as 10, and the young left winger at the left (don't remember his name, I just saw him against ManU).

Otherwise I'm afraid that Cenk would finish the season without even having a shoot...Because this midfield (I watched the last 3 games) is catastrophic unfortunately.

I was a bit sad for Cenk to sign for a team like this (no offense but this is a poor team from what I've seen). But I think the team can be much better with a new left back and definitely a MC who knows how to play football and doesn't just kick the ball forward.

Don't mate, I'm sad enough about Everton as it is, we don't need anybody else reminding us of our obvious faults.

I am not saying Cenk is the biggest striker around but even if you guys had Ronaldo at his prime, I still doubt you would have a shot at goal. Replace that midfield with some guys who know a bit about the build up play. Even the GK got tired of all those back passes and those long balls are terrible.

Good debut considering he was in a team that were totally outclassed. Didn't get a sniff of a chance but he's proven he can be clinical so I expect him to notch a few at GP against the bottom half teams.

As long as his efforts help us get to 40 points that enables us to regroup for next season, I'll be happy.

I think the manager is just poor. It's the first match for him at Everton and Tosun will get used to the team in time ,but with this manager it's not possible to win. Btw, Rooney must retire, he makes the team worst. That's all i can say.

Totally agree. Rooney and Siggi should not play together. If you play the two defensive midfielders then you can't have Rooney and Siggi- there is not enough pace and no support for the no.9. Result = no shots/ nothing. As usual.

Rooney, Siggi and Bolasie - who is work in progress - was a nutty choice.

DCL did more in 20 minutes to offer an outlet than Tosun did in 60.

That being said, I'm not going to write him off. Needs to bulk up and understand the physical nature of the PL.
