Yes ..DCL works hard and creates space for others

I really don't rate him, I agree he tries and looks tidy enough, but he creates virtually nothing. I maybe missing something as sines fans rate him, but all in all I think he's not very good. He always appears to me to be no better than championship level.

He's still learning his trade...but causing lots of problems for defenders ...In time he'll be like Graeme Sharp !

In time I hope you are right. I might get torched for saying this but I think a loan in championship may be really good for him. (Summer)


He has done what he can with the opportunity given to him.

You have to credit heart and effort and he has loads. I just think fine tuning some aspects of his game down in the championship would be good for his growth.


All of this under the assumption cenk turns out to be a player.

We've only paid about 8m initially mate, assuming Chelsea stumped up 5m up front, that means we had 17m and spent 8m according to that logic.

We've only committed to a guaranteed 19.5m the rest is performance add-ons if 5m as well, despite for those details, spot on post.

How come i am not seeing Lookman in these mock up formations?

For a strong technical striker you would imagine the runs and service Lookman was providing last night would be ideal for Cenk

Just like when Delefeou was hitting thos early crosses under Martinez for Lukaku it takes the right combination to bring the best out of a player and i think Ademola and Cenk would get the most out of eachother

Also i have said before i believe Sandro will come good... form is temporary class is permanent and you dont become as highly rated as Sandro without that level of class

Congratulations guys. You just didn't sign a good striker, you signed a great character too. Cenk is no Töre, no Arda Turan... He will not have issues to adapt to a foreign country...

I read messages here that he's championship level but I am not sure how many teams out there, (how many teams from PL???) can finish a CL group stage as the leader - unbeaten leader with 3 consecutive wins... Monaco, Porto and RB Leipzig are not Championship Level and Cenk stormed the defenders of these in addition to his powerful displays in CL last year and national team.

He's at Everton not because he's the top scorer in Turkish Leage, he's here as a result of his CL performance in the last two seasons...And If Cenk was Porto, Leipzig or Monaco player, Everton could not buy him for 27 m Euros...

What is certain with Cenk is: He knows how to score. Right foot, left foot, headers, bicycle kicks, short finishers, powerful long shots... He has them all. He always had this quality but he improved himself surprizingly good with respect to physical endurance and shoulder to shoulder agression with big central defenders...

Cenk is not a player who sometimes durations where he has issues with scoring. The guy is a natural finisher, he doesnt have mental problems - does not care who he's playing against and where...

But what is important for him is the support of the team. He's not guy that takes the ball in the middle and dribbles to score. If the team is effective to find him in or around the box, he will find the net. He can also play the left/right winger in 4-2-3-1 system. Last year there were several matches where aboubakar was the striker and Cenk was the man on the left wing. So if he's not scoring, that will not be only his issue, the team formation and support from the middle field an wingers is crucial...

There will be now a lot of Besiktas fans supporting actively Everton as Cenk is a very important character for us, I believe he will soon begin to shine and not let you down guys...
