He will have as much chance of scoring as DCL if we continue to play 1 up top and then isolate the striker.

I think we need need to play a better formation than that to get the best out the new lad.

Rooney and Siggurdson wide in the midfield three is a waste of time.

Siggurdson should be played behind the striker.

Glad we’ve made a swiftish move to sort our major problem area, but I’m still concerned we’re missing that link between midfield and attack, we dont create nearly enough chances, I’m reluctant to say all our goal scoring issues are over now we have a decent striker. We still need someone to get the ball into him so he has a chance of sticking them away.

Why not say," he is a quality player we believe in, but hopefully our fans realise that he has come from a different league, into a team struggling for goals and he needs time. "
