It isn't though is it....

We've bought a player with 13 assists and 9 goals in a no mark team, playing in the 'best league in the world'. Using that logic what's their value...

We bought an England International CB playing in the 'best league in the world' for a 'no mark team'. Must be ace!

We bought an England International goalkeeper that was shortlisted for young player of the year award in 'the best league in the world' is 23, and was playing for a Relegated team.

All shining stars playing for 'awful' teams in the best league in the world.

You want to buy in England you pay the price...

But paid massively over the top (even by UK prices) for all of them, which rather proves my point.

Throw in Bolasie / Williams / Klaassen / Schneiderlin (sadly) and it shows I'm a 10 on the right-meter

It's a Big Sam move though isn't it? But that last sentence could still apply to him too!

None of that deferred responsibility any more, Walsh has been here for some time now and since day one we've needed a striker. He's repeatedly failed to find/bring someone in - he shouldn't be given another summer if one doesn't come in this window that isn't a complete failure.

Can't spell Cenk Tosun without 'no scent'

Make of that what you will. Stinky deal this.

No reflection on the player but we are spending about £20m too much on him

Also can't spell it without 'consent'

He certainly doesn't have my consent and I'm sick of being taken for granted. No means no Cenk.

Not optimistic at all, very little low expectation.

Basically the entire opposite to Sandro, so hopefully he turns out great.

Either way, I think his transfer should determine whether Steve Walsh is here after the final game of the season.

That's the spirit. I do exactly the same - generally. I'm never disappointed.

Wow, make of THAT what you will.

Are we having Cenk forced on us against our will?

I think everton buy cenk tosun in a very very VERY cheap prize and besiktas is not the one who benefit in this deal.
It's the mid season, and everton buys a player with too much potential and discipline with 22 m euros + bonusses. If he proves himself in everton you can sell him 3-4 times more price to another, and if he don't, you don't lose much i think.
I would be very surprised if we get Lukaku levels of money for someone who would be 5 years older than he was when we sold him. If that is the case then we basically would have signed the Turkish Batistuta

It appears all done and dusted, coming to FF today for medical.

I like the way our club goes in these sagas. Keeps us all up there on a high better than Coke.
