So did O.G. Solskjær - it might just happen that he will be good.......maybe very good
It's the reason why people never want us to sign players from Scotland, Ireland, Portugal etc.

VVD - pub team two horse league in Scotland.
Coleman - better teams on Stanley Park than in Irish League
Ronaldo - No mark league. Just sounds exotic.

If you want to uncover gold you need to sift through mud. If you want to buy established talent then you pay through the nose for it.

Same amount of league goals but in like 350 less minutes. Scored a few more in cups and the CL. Think Tosun is outperforming Kone based on the stats.

But hey let's maybe watch him play for us then say if he's a waste of money?
He’s had one good season scoring wise, last season. He’s playing in a poor standard of league and is statistically at the age when strikers performance starts declining. It stinks of another average player who we are paying far too much money for to add to the 100 plus million we’ve already wasted this season. To say nothing of the fact that we shouldn’t be letting a stop gap manager spend big money.

Ole came into one of the best sides in European football, much easier transition
I agree - it's not my point - theres surely many similar examples with ale house league players really kicking on. We just don't know how it will turn out. Our biggest problem is our playing style with no midfield maestroes. I'm sure Sandro and Klassen could have been great with players like Silva, Özil, De Bruyne.

25-30mil is not giving someone a chance mate, that’s a considerable outlay of money for a donkey from the Turkish league who’s YouTube video isn’t even that good!! Swerve

I’m Talking about us at fans giving somebody a chance . I don’t want us to be like the RS a calling every signing the new zidane or a young Messi but surely we can do better than calling him a donkey before he’s kicked a ball for us .

Our transfer policy is simply to pay gold prices for the mud.

Those united links are fan driven ones mate, not a chance mourinho goes any buys a 20yo from Scotland for 30m. Especially after complaining about not being backed enough and busting out Shaw.

All about the short term the next year with Jose.

It was more just a big team example. We wouldn't be the biggest/best option in for him no matter the price. Anyway, I can't see him going, he seems like he genuinely loves being there.

Sure, but it's still a big hit to the Club. It's 6M to make the next round and they could make it. That's not nothing. But yeah, getting out of the group stage was pretty much well beyond expectations.
Actually last 8 was the goal of Besiktas this season if u believe or not, until the Bayern thing :D

The biggest reason on the sell of Cenk is Bayern too. If Cenk plays badly and be a 'facepalm' transfer for Everton, that's actually Bayerns fault :D

It's the Everton way.

Players are either Uber boss or Uber garbage. No middle ground.
That's fine, but when people say stuff that is clearly not true, they are simply morons. Evertonion or not.

There empirical evidence suggesting Gylfi runs a ton, but still, some will say he's lazy. Keane was the second fastest guy in Burnley. It's not like they don't clock guys. He's won a ton of aerial challenges, there evidence to support it. He's obviously good in the air.

Strikers start declining at 26? Better tell most managers mate, no one else thinks that.

Jagielka was the fastest at Everton, doesn't mean anything until you're on the back foot in a game though does it
