Confirmed Signing Cenk Tosun

Klaassen is the biggest one for me. As disappointing as Keane has been, you know that with an actual defence around him he can still contribute. Klaassen cost a lot of money and genuinely looks an absolutely woeful footballer with no technical or physical attributes to speak of. As big a waste of money as you're ever likely to see.
Don't forget though
"Pffft, if you can't see he's a class footballer, then footy isn't for you"

Oh and on topic, I hope Tosun is boss

If it’s not finished early today and he can’t even train with the team today then I can’t see him taking part tomorrow, should have been done earlier in the week.

Hoping he'd be straight in the squad for tomorrow night even just as a potential sub, but looking unlikely now. Everton that.....

I'd rather have Niasse who at least is a 'known' quantity right now, than have the lad on the bench only to come on for 5 minutes in what inevitably will be a defeat and a crap display, and get written off.

Anyway, finally got round to giving the boy a going over and sadly I must say, hes not the answer. He will get bullied in this league, hes quite skillful and has decent pace but strength wise its not great.

Its not totally bad, hes decent on the ball and he would play well up top in a 2, but as for a number 9 leading the line, well we see.

The 1 thing I will say is he will score goals, so its not a waste of dough, its just hes unlikely to be the monster up top I wanted.

70/30 chance of success.
He seems really strong to me but lacks pace. Guess we shall see.

Looks like Nikola Kalinic is back on the market. He's pretty darn good in the air and better than anything else we have.

We tried to get it done earlier in the week. Negotiations took longer than expected.

The first bid supposedly went in last Wednesday.

A week in Everton transfer dealings is actually an incredibly quick turnaround...

Cenk is used to coming from the bench and score, I hope Sam gives him at least 25-30 mins of playtime. Liverpool will not stay back and defend no matter the score so I guess Cenk will have the opportunity.
