There is so much misinformation coming out of Besiktas, what does one believe. We made an offer which was initially accepted but no they want more. All down to a claim that a 35 mill offer from China was rejected, who is he kidding. Not me, Everton should say take it or we walk away.

One of the rumours that I could easily believe is this one, a deal has been agreed, but it's down to the payment plan, Besiktas want the money in two instalments, we want to spread it out more (the Everton way)

Sorry but the misinformation is coming from both sides. UK sources claim the bid was £25M but raised to £27M. Besiktas officially denied this. Turkish sources say it is 22M in Euros + 3M bonuses etc. and the problem is mainly about installments. Allardyce says they did their best and will be decided in 24 hrs which is long gone. Turkish news channels quote English channels, and vice versa. All full of BS.

Cenk might be great, but we don't have to buy Dembele and wait 4-5 years to find a better striker than Cenk. Many already think he's better than Cenk to begin with, but there are other options out there that won't cost 35M. I like the player, but he's slow and he's not that great in the air. And this idea that he's going to work hard to press defensive players is lovely, but when you don't have a lot of pace, not sure how helpful that is going to be.

Frankly, there's no way we should be paying more than 20M for him, maybe 25M with add ons. He can go to China, he wants to get paid, he can get paid there. Willian Jose, Slimani, Nicolai Jorgensen, so many others...

I wouldn't call him slow.He is not the fastest guy, but his speed is enough.I agree with you about his aerial skills. He knows how to put the ball into the net with his head, but as a 1.83 guy against 1.90 EPL defenders he need to position himself better than he did in Turkey.I always wished he was 1.87 :D Tbh, if I was the president I would accept the bid 20M+5M add ons.Only way he can up his price is Besiktas knocking out Bayern, but it is not realistic. When we talk about China, biggest problem is Cenk is not a guy who would choose money over his career.I think Cenk is okay with the Everton move.It is up to president Fiko.

Okay if that is the case, but what about this so called offer of 35 mill from China - fact or fiction?
