In times of great need, bring a blue home

As Sam has already said he is aware of the importance of getting his first signing right, he must really rate this guy.

I don't think therefore he would entrust this entirely or at all to Walsh, though if they rely on the same scouting technology, then Tosun may have come up as the best available option anyway.

Still there is no replacement for watching someone play live, so I hope they have done that at least a few times.

Exactly. The pens at Finch Farm are stored in a high security bank-style vault and it takes a week to get contractors in to get that open even before any sort of contract can be drawn up.
media and itks always prematurely ejaculate, fans naturally too, and then the waiting and fuming starts, it continues for few days and when the deal is announced everybody are like, meh. x

Before stating my opinion, I'm a lifelong Beşiktaş fan (and Everton fan since 2009).

Cenk is not a bad player by any means but claiming his skills are no less than Lacazette is a bit exaggeration in my opinion. I wouldn't compare the two.

Cenk is slower and his finishing rate is not very high. He will need to be very well fed to score goals.
He will certainly be well fed by us provided he can run backwards at speed whilst staring in the sky
