It's funny how it's taken Sam to come in to get the club set up in terms of things like statisticians, sports physcologist etc...

That's what should have already been in place from Walsh. That's the other half of his remit. A DoF isn't just responsible for transfers and in fairness to him the youth side of it has improved even moreso in the last 18 months. But it shows how - imo - he's not fulfilling his role fully so far.

Reckon they would put him on bench alright. Bring him on with 10 mins to go if down 1 nil or level. We dont have game changers so he might be the best option. Notice im saying 1 nil or level with 10 mins to go. Lol. C'Mon ye blue boys

But whats wrong with that? We sell a player who could have left for a free and improved the squad by using that money by signing a striker.
