Fair question. Let's put this in perspective. There aren't big transfer going to China right now since they changed the way they tax transfers. How many have we had even this summer? Almost none and certainly nothing approaching 35M. Modeste was like the only big deal that I can remember and it never really materialized other than an odd loan deal. 35M would be the 4th largest transfer fee in the history of the Chinese league and would actually cost 70M to the Chinese club in total. There's just no way. For this guy?

Far too many "In" references re Turkish football to doubt him imo. Also, he admitted he has been in the UK since 1999, and where he is posting from, would deffo have picked up an English turn of phrase. My guess is, skilled engineer, or restaurant owner/worker.
