Kone who was the biggest joke everton has ever signed. Who was used as a substitute as a form of protest by the manager in a fa cup match to prove the level of crap he had on his bench. Is absolutely destroying your league.

Negrado couldn't even get into a decent premier league side and ended up being a bench warmer to a relagation fodder side in the end.

Rooney going to you lot? Ha! The only reason he even knows Istanbul exists is because the kopites wont shut up about it. Your playing a 92 year old ryan bable as one of your main players.

Winning something in the Turkish league is like winning something in Scotland, it means sweet f a in the premiership. We were relagation fodder 3 weeks ago and now we're taking your best striker off you. What does that say about your league.

In all honesty I appreciate you coming on here and sharing your opinions on one of your players and i find them genuinely intresting to read. Trust me most of the things posted on her are tongue in cheek, mine included. Try not to take what is said here to seriously and enjoy demba ba lol:drunk:

Then you look at playes who are in the last 6 months of their contracts and would be avaliable for a reduced fee as in:
Mario balotellie who has scored 16 goals and 1 assist in 21 games and is 27.

Thats the question that are being asked. Is he worth the money that we are willing/going to pay? Can he adapt and bring his current form to a tougher, faster and better all round leuge then the one he is currently at.

Also how smart is he as a player? Can he continue to adapt his game year on year? With the technology avaliable to teams in the premier league. Players have to be able to adapt every year. This league eats players alive who dont develop season on season. The amount of players who have come in all guns blazing, scoring goals for fun in their first season then in their second can't buy a goal is a long list indeed.

I'll be honest I've not seen alot of this lad but he looks to be a better version of naisse to me. Will be a good player for us, do a job but won't lead us to glory and will probably be our backup striker next season.

Balotelli "the headcase"? really? it is a coincidence that besiktas once considered him as the first option.

I cant object a younger and more explosive option preference. but if you need production right now, cenk is the safer bet.

about the questions you raised... he must be very intelligent considering his vision around the box. not kind of a midfield creativity or technique but he can find the open man on a single pass. his adaptation will be no concern. grown in germany, played a couple of years in a small city in turkey and starred in a CL team to raise the eyebrows from EPL! he played germany u21, then was a starter, then was a backup rarely used and then he proved that he is a real deal in last two seasons. he can speak german, turkish and english. I mean if this guy cant adapt everton, nobody can.

Maybe I forgot to point out when discussing him but the most fascinating thing about him for me is how he can use his both feet. he developed it in last two seasons and it is paying dividends.

I'm pretty confident you are going to get hit for double figures by Bayern. As for Cenk I'd say he's already at the top end of his value, he's 26 and on a low wage contract until 2019 - add to that Turkish domestic football being generally viewed as average (ranked 10th by Uefa) and you can see why this move has gathered as much news as it has.

I'm sure you and fellow fans are finding it hard to understand why one of your better players wants to leave (you've mentioned league titles and the Champions League a few times) but the reality of the situation any player of a good age who does well in Turkey is going to be looking to a higher quality league, a higher wage and a better chance at being in the spotlight. Big names heading to the Turkish league are normally at the tail end of their career or have flopped at their previous club.

Haha yeah he is a head case but i was just pointing out options with similar strike rates who will be avaliable to everton.

You know a lot more about him then me obviously. I'm yet to see any bjk fan seem happy about loosing him or have a bad opinion of him so thats a positive. The opinions shared on him like yourself, certainly give hope for excitement of us signing him just got to wait and see if he can reproduced his form for you for us. But heres hopeing :lol:

Kone scored 8 goals in 17 games this year on Turkish league, which is not extremely well because teams like Sivasspor (in which Kone plays) rely on one player to score, so he gets almost all the passes and scores mostly against teams at the same level or below. You can easily find low-level strikers scoring 20-25 goals in a season in Turkey, but when they move to the top teams they can only score 1/3 of that.

Cenk is a really good player and he is still improving so if you can be a little patient, he may be your next Lukaku.
