Castore - get rid?

Got to say, I find the snobbery of the brand mad.

If I like Everton gear, I buy it.

I bought Puma, Umbro, LCS, I'm not not purchasing it because it's not made my Adidas or Nike. I'm buying it cause it's got an Everton badge on it. I support Everton, not Nike.

Think people are quick to forget Nike are the ones who forced us into changing the badge cause it cost too much money to do a badge in 3 ways. Just don't get what the clamour is.

If Castore want to pay us double what the nearest interested party want to, they're more than welcome to.

I bought one of the jackets when Nike was doing our stuff and it shrunk to about half the size after about 3 washes. Worse thing was I was down the pub one night and had it on and there was a scouse bloke who must live around here now and he was trying to get me to sell it to him the whole night

The LCS was the best quality, still got a few shirts from that era going strong

One of the training shirts I've got still looks brand new and same thing, been worn a squillion times

Great for a round of golf. When you lose a ball in the bushes discreetly drop one via your pocket and shout found it

I was a staunch critic of Castore beforehand because of what I had experienced, seen and been told. But, I have been pleasantly surprised by them.

My son's kits and training gear has all stood the test of time this year, even being regularly worn, and still looks in good condition.

We've not had a decent quality first team adult shirt since Le Coq Sportif. All of the training stuff I bought then is still 'as good as new' today.

The stuff from hummel has degraded to the point where two of the shirts were used to line the inside of my cats new beds.

Castore feels much the same, but I've only had this shirt for a couple months.

All I can say is my home shirt has lasted this season just fine. I've no problem sticking with Castore going forward.

They moved to Manchester because it has better access to young professionals there. I worked with a lad who went to school with the founders, he's a massive kopite and was in the castore box on Saturday

Yeah I know who you mean. He's in the background of the picture of Godfrey signing things.

A family of reds had it the week before and they all find it hilarious.

Take it how you want but it's pretty bad.

Purely for the kits from an aesthetic POV I'd bin them. I bought almost every Hummel top, but didn't bother with the Castore ones. They are paying us a wedge though, so obvs keep them until someone wants to pay us more or the deal runs out.
