Castore - get rid?

I think it’s pretty obvious Castore is poor. No idea why we had Nike for a year and then jibbed it.

I do think moving forward with the Americans we will need a bigger brand such as Nike or Adidas as they will want to sell our stuff in America and nobody is bouncing around in Castore.

Money.

Why else? Nike were giving us next to nothing. Unbro gave us our biggest ever manufacturing deal.

That lot had addidas from 85 to 96, then from 04 to 12... so... Id say that's a strong association?

The Hummel kits and training gear was fantastic for seasons 20/21 and 21/22 then it all seemed to get a bit generic.
Its their job to make kits for clubs! They will make them for anyone if the deal is right.

Yeah our Hummel stuff wasn't quite mad enough for me. Nice but was expecting a bit more.

Got to say, I find the snobbery of the brand mad.

If I like Everton gear, I buy it.

I bought Puma, Umbro, LCS, I'm not not purchasing it because it's not made my Adidas or Nike. I'm buying it cause it's got an Everton badge on it. I support Everton, not Nike.

Think people are quick to forget Nike are the ones who forced us into changing the badge cause it cost too much money to do a badge in 3 ways. Just don't get what the clamour is.

If Castore want to pay us double what the nearest interested party want to, they're more than welcome to.

WTF is that guy behind wearing - its like a thermal turtle neck! have I been living under a rock or does that llok stupid?

Whoever does out kit should do a specific "Gana" collection, that includes long sleeve turtle necks, yoga pants and tights designed to be worn under the kit and colour matched, for those fans and players that feel the cold.

Gerrard has some involvement with them, hence Rangers and Villa getting them when he managed them, think that's what you're think of.

Gerrard had long been binned when Villa and adidas struck their deal. However Villa's majority owner is on the adidas supervisory board....which probably helped. Villa got out of the Castore deal because of numerous quality and supply issues, as did Newcastle. Castore saw their football division start to come tumbling down and decided to throw silly money at getting another well known Premier League team on board pretty sharpish.....hence the Everton deal.
