Castore - get rid?

I got myself a retro '85/'86 shirt with the white panel (the NEC/Lineker shirt) the other day. I think the original shirts were by Le Coq Sportif. I thought it would be nice to have another shirt not sponsored by a betting company. All my remaining shirts and training tops are Chang. The good thing about this one is the embroidered badge and stitched-on lettering, rather than the printed sort that eventually peel off and leave a dark, sticky residue.

I bought that top when we had LCS last time and it had the LCS logo on it and also had a thin yellow slip around the bib.

No one remembers, especially no one in Sidcup. :coffee: . I wore the shirt at a pub quiz the other night. Our team of six wrinklies only had one male member (me, obviously). We called ourselves Princesses and the P (as I'm Pete) but I'm always being asked by others in The Sixties Club to be in their team because of my sports' knowledge. You'd think I'd be flattered but I just find it awkward, so I say I just I always join the same team as my wife.

Anyway, I digress. One particularly buxom team member asked me what the 'thing in the middle of the badge' was. I didn't actually go blank but I said it was a representation of a lockup in Everton Vale, in Liverpool, called St. Rupert's Tower. When I got home later I realized my mistake. Not that made any difference.
