Castore - get rid?

I would like adidas, just so I can get a pair of Everton Gazelles
I'd love a pure retro adidas everton top, be it kit, training, or fashion. Something like this...

Went in the Everton store in town today, never seen the kit/training shelves so empty. Last ever game at Goodison you'd have thought there would be loads of stock in to meet demand. This time last year it was easy to buy Hummel things. Only wanted the green training kit for the GKs and maybe the black training hoodie (small or unfortunately Junior XL as Castore thinks we're all on steds with their sizes). Didn't have either...

On the plus side the commemorative shirt (not Castore) is class, bit pricey but might pick one up next time I'm in. Hope Castore is binned off soon, shoddy sizes and standards 👌👍

Its a regular thing towards the end of the season with the club shop. I bet two doors down the RS shelves are always full of stock ready to sell, but at this end of the season our store looks like its having a closing down sale. This is why the idea of having next seasons gear ready to go on sale makes good sense. Even if its the new home shirt and some training wear, you`re expecting a full house last day of the season so potentially 30k + of folks that would think of buying some gear for the summer. No excuse not to do this if you`re not changing supplier.

The RS shop always seems full of stock but on the other hand they won the referees won them the league so their supporters are probably too ashamed to buy shirts!!

On a serious note though I agree 👍👌 Why do other clubs play their last game in next season's kit and we're always the last to release?

I got myself a retro '85/'86 shirt with the white panel (the NEC/Lineker shirt) the other day. I think the original shirts were by Le Coq Sportif. I thought it would be nice to have another shirt not sponsored by a betting company. All my remaining shirts and training tops are Chang. The good thing about this one is the embroidered badge and stitched-on lettering, rather than the printed sort that eventually peel off and leave a dark, sticky residue.

Whatever happened to Bukta? In 1963/64, when I was a fledgling Evertonian, running around thinking I was Jimmy Gabriel, squelching through the mud and being hammered into it every time I headed the rain-soaked, full-sized leather ball, leaving impressive-looking scars on my 11 year-old forehead, my football kit was made by Bukta.

I wonder, now that LCS are no more, what's stopping someone reproducing this top with their logo?
