Carra the clown to get the push?

he'll get the sack, but there's an endless conveyor belt of ex-red commentators waiting to step in.

the cure will be worse than the disease

That utter weapon James Pearce writing in the Echo "He's apologised and that should be the end of the matter". Erm, no you Tory bell. Spitting in a kid's face isn't something you just move on from after a crappy apology, it's a disgusting and repulsive thing to do and any person who does it deserves to hung out to dry and reminded of their repulsive behaviour for a good while so the message hits home that what they've done is truly despicable and won't be tolerated by society.

Carragher is a scumbag, I've had enough of the "I know Jamie and this is not a reflection of who he really is" bollox the RS media are mostly coming out with. He's a bully and thin-skinned a-hole of a man who loves to dish it out and but can't take any in return.

He's admitted to purposefully injuring some kid from the Liverpool academy they brought in to train with the first team because he embarrassed him in 5-a-side. He rung up a football phone-in offering a journalist a fist fight at Melwood for saying he was wrong to make himself unavailable for England. He organised a gang of thugs to have a fellow professional assaulted because he accidently injured him in a game. He called a group of grown men with families (Arsenal players) cowards whom any father wouldn't want near his daughter, because they lost a football match.

Vile man, he's going to get away with this and it sickens me. Anyone can cock up and anyone can act out in a moment of rage. I've done it plenty myself. People can forgive and should be forgiven when a person does something bad if it's obviously a very out of character thing they've done in a situation they were unfortunate to find themselves placed in. But the world already knows the type of character Carragher is at heart, or at least they should, and it's not the cheeky chappy Scouser he portrays for the public. It's the odious man who behaves like a thug and has never lost the arrogance of a scally who knocks about in rough areas thinking they're dead 'ard.

Or Patrice Evra!!

If Patrice Evra had done this the RS mouth breathers would be begging for his tongue to be cut out and would then run a justice for Suarez campaign mk 2.

This episode also raises a larger point regarding his impartiality as a pundit as well. After the match had finished Carragher was pretty magnanimous whilst Souness looked like he wanted to cry but maybe Carragher is just the better actor.

To resort to spitting after a bit of goading shows he can give it (which he does a lot) but can't take it. Clearly Liverpool losing drives him completely insane.

*spits at @EFCPaul

Would be interested to know how he got the phone number for the family. The story broke with him having already called the family. Clearly been paid off but surely it could have only been the police or the press that put the two parties in touch. I was always under the impression it was a serious criminal offence and I'd expect the police to have an issue with this incident on many levels.

As for the rs showing support in the wake of something so disgusting, sums them up really. I guess if any Evertonian he walks past gobs on him, we have a whole Twitter feed to say he goaded us & we can say sorry, so it's cool. Dude would look like Jenna Jameson after a gang bang walking past Goodison on match day. :)

The reaction from the Liverpool media mafia is an utter disgrace, but it's what we've come to expect. That club is a stain on your city. The free pass they get in the media beggars belief. Not just a free pass, the media are happy to accept anything they spout and actively join in when they go on a witch hunt. The disgraceful treatment of Raheem Sterling is testament to that.
Every time they do something vile, they have a an army of pundits and journos making excuses for them, and every time someone upsets them or speaks out against them, the same sycophants go into attack mode. Every one from that horse abusing tit on talksport, to their army of cultists in Scandanavia join in.
Bullets in the post, bile spewed on social media by their fans, and by their army of pundits on every form of media, either in print, radio or tv. They are a truly vile organisation.
