Good player is underplaying it somewhat.
If you can’t afford a former player of his stature some respect , what’s the point.?

Was worried about playing all three of the new signings before the game but Carlo knew exactly how the game would play out. Genius.

Usually I would be worried if we are playing 3 miss that never played together , this would be normal. The difference is that any of our midfield combo last season also played like they had never seen eachother before in their lives and their standard level is way below every single player we signed. Playing those 3 was pretty much guaranteed to be a massive improvement on what we have been watching for the past year

We are and the midfield part I'd agree with. Liverpool's forwards pretty much guarantee 50/60+ goals a year and a shed load of assists too. We're not there yet.
