We know that he is our best manager since Kendall and when he goes it will be downhill in the calibre of manager we hire unless we are CL regulars

What a load of codswallop. All managers end up getting sacked from their clubs, very few resign and willingly walk away from millions of spondoolies. Carlo won the Premier League, FA Cup and Community Shield with Chelsea, the Bundesliga and DFL Supercup with Bayern Munich and qualified for the Champions League with Napoli and got sacked after a 4 - 0 group stage win that advanced them to the last 16.
Could have gone to any to any top club of his choosing but fancied the project of rejuvenating a club with a fantastic history that has fallen on hard times but has the ambition and resources to be great again.
Best Manager we have had since HK and will probably end up being the best of all time so enjoy it mate as the next few years are going to be a wild and very enjoyable ride.

I know. Literally one of the best managers in the world, and people complain about him. Those kind of people don't deserve us being successful.
We took that risk on Martinez and Silva, fans get easily unimpressed by these young managers, and environment becomes hostile once faith has been lost.

I think the main reason why our current run of form has gone largely unnoticed by the media is because of the calibre of teams we've been putting aside. If we start getting results away at Arsenal, against United & Chelsea etc. then heads will start to turn. Quickly.
